Global Master in Finance

To initiate your admissions process for the Global Master in Finance, you will need to have completed the following:

  • A Bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university or equivalent (at this stage, a copy of the degree is accepted; however, to complete the process you will need to present the original documents).
  • We prefer students with 2+ years of work experience, ideally in finance. However, the admissions committee wil consider exceptional students without experience or who are not currently working in the finance sector.

Additional requirements

The following additional requirements are a crucial part of your admissions process, however may be presented following submission of the application:

  • Entrance Exam
    • GMAT (670 average - GMAT reporting code 6XT-ZH-98)
    • GRE (GRE reporting code 0108)
    • CFA Level I is accepted in lieu of a GMAT or GRE.
    • CAIA Level I or II is accepted in lieu of a GMAT or GRE.
  • Language Certificate for non-native speakers:
English Track
TOEFL (Reporting Code: 0707)
Pearson PTE Academic
IELTS
Cambridge (CAE or CPE)

This requirement does not apply with demonstration of one of the following:

  • Two years of work experience in an English speaking country
  • Undergraduate degree completed in English.
  • Supporting Documents:
    • A one-page curriculum vitae/résumé.
    • 2 recommendation letters.
    • Original undergraduate university transcripts and diploma.

    We will require official academic transcripts of university studies, which must be translated into English or Spanish; however copies are accepted to initiate the admissions process.

    • Copies of internationally recognized language accreditation.
    • Copies of other relevant degrees, certificates or accreditations (as applicable).
    • Copy of current passport or Spanish ID card.
    • 1 passport-size photo.
    • Application fee of €120.

This amount can be paid by credit card, cash or bank transfer and is non-refundable.

  • Interview

Interviews may be scheduled on campus, with one of our offices, in coordination with an IE event, or by phone should you be unable to meet us in person.

The interview examines the data provided in the application in greater detail, tests your communication abilities and evaluates whether your profile will meet the demands of the program and add value within the class discussion and group work.
